Photos from 2009 Silver Mountain Trip

Home

We had a fun trip to Silver Mountain in Kellogg ID, even though we had picked the hottest day of the year, to date, it being in the high 90's in Kellogg. Silver Mountain is a year around resort featuring downhill skiing in winter, mountain biking and mountain top events in the summer. The waterpark is for guests who stay at the lodge and is open all year. We received a guided tour of the waterpark, including going behind the scenes to view the "inner workings" of the equipment that makes it work. We had lunch at Noah's and then rode the gondola up the mountain. Thanks to Donna for the additional photos.

This water feature is a giant bucket that spills periodically.

Control panels for some of the fans in the waterpark. We liked the name and it so fits with Kellogg's history.

Who knew one could surf in Kellogg.

This "teapot" also periodically dumps water.
